Finally Have a VERY few moments !!

Would someone please tell me just WHY my list from the last post is NOT in order? That is SO irritating!

Any of you quilters out there, they are having a fantastic sale over at Superior Threads. Here is the link to the sale page. They are really cleaning house!!

Also, if you'd like to help out those unfortunate people "Down Under", the lady at Sew Many Quilts blog site is requesting anyone who would like to help to send just the quilt blocks to them. However many you have time, or stash, to make. They are very simple, you can use strips from 3/4" up to 3". You just cut 11.5" squares of your backing + batting and sew the strips on the diagonal beginning with the crosswise center. They go real quickly. I have no idea what it costs to mail something down there, and her address is on her blog site. She said that what they REALLY need badly is blocks suitable for teenage boys, ya know, no flowery prints or pink! The one other caveat is don't duplicate the same print in the same block. Other than that, she doesn't really care what you do. I highly recommend going to her blog and checking it out. Great way to stashbust and help others at the same time.

I'm in the midst of doing a Turning Twenty red/black/white quilt top. What fun! One of the quilt groups I belong to has divided up into groups of four to do this. We sent five blocks to each of the other three in our group, and, of course, kept a set for ourselves. It is almost like Christmas when a package arrives that you know has blocks in it. Then we are waiting (oh so hard) until the last person has all their blocks and then sew like mad as the first person totally done, done, done, gets a prize.

To quote Bugs Bunny (wasn't it?)

That's All Folks!
